Poor ‘victim’ Ashley Madison seeks public sympathy after hacking

Ashley Madison proudly enourages people to 'have an affair'

Poor Ashley Madison. There they are just trying to make a few quid out of the adulterous behaviour of millions of people and some smart whiz kids come along to spoil the fun by releasing the details of millions of willing adulterers.
“Some journalists have turned the focus of the criminal act against Ashley Madison inside out, attacking us instead of the hackers” the company says.

Cut the sob story guys.

Petition urges Pope Francis and Bishops to adhere to Truth at Synod

The TFP Student Action Group has set up a petition asking Pope Francis to reinforce Church teaching on marriage and the family at the upcoming Synod in Rome.

The petition has been started in response to some Bishops and also the mainstream media who are trying to force through change to fit with what society perceives as truth, as opposed to what Christ and his Church teaches as Truth.

Attacks on the family have been coming thick and fast over the last fifty or sixty years and this most basic yet most cherished aspect of life which has served us so well for so long is slowly being eroded to nothing.

Pope Francis: teach your children to pray, to make the Sign of the Cross

Pope Francis has urged parents to teach their children to pray, saying that children should learn prayer with the same spontaneity as when they learn to say “daddy” and “mummy”. The pope made the remarks during his latest General Audience in St Peter’s Square on Wednesday.

He said: “There are children who have not learned to make the Sign of the Cross.  You, mother, father: teach your children how to pray, how to make the Sign of the Cross.”

The pope continued: “It is beautiful when mothers teach their little children to blow a kiss to Jesus or to Our Lady.

Mother posts stunning pictures of her two little babies, miscarried at 7 and 8.5 weeks

Mindy Raelynne Danison just loves her two beautiful children.  But, unlike most mothers, Mindy is unable to cuddle and hold little Riley and Annabelle as both were sadly taken from her at a very early age following miscarriage.  This, however, hasn’t dampened Mindy’s desire to share her precious children with the world.

Their humanity and their value are clear for all to see, even at the tender age of just a few weeks old.

Holding firm to Christ and his Church (Dwelling on the Word of God, Sunday 23rd August 2015)

Sunday’s Gospel (John 6:60-69)

‘After hearing his doctrine many of the followers of Jesus said, ‘This is intolerable language. How could anyone accept it?’ Jesus was aware that his followers were complaining about it and said, ‘Does this upset you? What if you should see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
‘It is the spirit that gives life,
the flesh has nothing to offer.
The words I have spoken to you are spirit
and they are life.
‘But there are some of you who do not believe.’ For Jesus knew from the outset those who did not believe, and who it was that would betray him.

US conference urges Catholic youth to live their faith openly and warns against cherry-picking

Cardinal TImothy Dolan

A number of distinguished speakers including Cardinal Timothy Dolan descended on the Steubenville youth conference in New York earlier this month to speak to 2,000 young people about the Catholic faith.

The youth were encouraged to live their faith openly and to be prepared to make more difficult decisions as they get older, including whether or not to have a relationship with God. They were also warned against cherry-picking their faith in order to try and justify their behaviour.

Abortion and Planned Parenthood: God help those who see yet do nothing

We can't keep quiet about this any more

With Cecil the Lion still firmly in the minds of the masses, a new story of a horse being sexually assaulted in the north of Scotland has come to light.  And just like Cecil, the story has been given top billing by mainstream media outlets.

The stories of both Cecil and this horse are sad and horrific in their own way.  But they really do pale into insignificance when set against the backdrop of the brutal videos being released by the Center for Medical Progress in the United States, videos which prove that Planned Parenthood is harvesting the body parts of aborted babies without consent, and for profit.

McLellan: A Profound Step and a Profound Apology, Yet Narrow Minded Intolerance Still Persists

The Catholic Church in Scotland is committed to ending abuse

The vast majority of people have welcomed the publication of the McLellan Commission Report into abuse within the Catholic Church in Scotland.  The vast majority of people have similarly welcomed the Church's unequivocal apology for its own failings with respect to abuse.  However, I have been dismayed to see that a small minority do not share this view.

The Church, having itself requested this independent Commission be set up, wants to right the wrongs of the past as best it can.

Catholic Church in Scotland Issues Profound Apology to Victims of Abuse

The Catholic Church in Scotland has made a profound apology to victims of abuse saying “We say sorry.  We ask forgiveness.”

The apology coincides with the anticipated independent McLellan Commission Report into abuse in the Catholic Church in Scotland, a report which has today received widespread support from Church hierarchy who have committed to accepting its recommendations in full.

At Mass in St Andrew’s Cathedral in Glasgow, Archbishop Philip Tartaglia formally responded to the contents of the report on behalf of the Bishops of Scotland.

McLellan Commission Report into Abuse Released

The McLellan Commission Report, compiled on the instructions of the Catholic Church in Scotland has been released and can be accessed using the link, below.

We will have more reaction to this in due course.
