Pope Francis will wash the feet of young prisoners in the juvenile prison at Casal del Marmo in Rome on Holy Thursday.
He will celebrate the Mass of the Lord's Supper with those incarcerated in the young offenders' institute. This is in keeping with the Pope's role as Archbishop of Buenos Aires when he often spent Hy Thursday in a prison, hospital or hospice.
It is yet another example of Pope Francis reaching out to the poor in society. He talked the talk a couple of weeks ago. He is certainly leading by example and walking the walk.
